The clearest of waters flow in the mountain streams and channel their way towards the Drau and Isel, the main rivers in our region. Trout and greyling are mainly caught in the streams and rivers in East Tyrol.
The Defereggental (Defereggen Valley) offers an assortment of clear waters for fly fishing.
